SUMMARY:Tullett Memorial Trial
DESCRIPTION:This will be a team’s event.   There will be three grades: Red\, yellow and blue and each team will have a red\, yellow and blue rider.  The scores of the riders will be added together and the winning team will be the one with the lowest score.  The Tullett shield will be awarded to the winners.   You can form a team before the trial or just turn up and we will fit you into one.   If all the riders in the team are on old bikes (twin shocks or air cooled monos)\, the team won’t need to have a red rider. \nLen Tullett was Pioneer’s secretary for 10 years from 1937 to 1947 and was a popular member who did a lot of work for the club.  After Len’s death in 1947 the Club ran an annual inter club trial for a several years.  Each club entered a team and competed for the Tullett Memorial Shield. \nSign in from 9.30am\, briefing: 10:15am. Starts:10 :30am.  Fees: Senior $20.00\, Junior (under 17 years) $10.00.\nNew riders can purchase a one day club membership for $5 and ride on a free one event competition licence.\nAccess to the property is authorised only for the event. No dogs allowed.\nMandatory equipment: Helmet and boots.  Helmets must be no older than 10 years and of an approved standard.  Bikes must have a lanyard\, a rear sprocket which is covered so no holes remain visible and a shark fin on the rear sprocket side.

SUMMARY:Ironman Methven Motor Trials Event
DESCRIPTION:The Club will be participating in the Ironman 4×4 Motor Trials Event at Carney’s Road\, Alford Forest. This is a very good promotional opportunity for the Club because several thousand spectators are expected to attend.\nWe will be setting sections and riding some laps like a trial so the spectators can see what trials is about. Some of the sections will be on a hillside and there will also be a couple of display sections in a flat paddock so the spectators can have a closer view. \nThe aim of this is a fun day to promote the Club. There is a possibility that we can also set 2 or 3 sections that won’t be viewable by spectators. These would purely be to make a better day out for the riders and\, if allowed\, will give us access to some wooded and/or creek/rock sections \nIt would be great to have riders from different grade levels taking part in this event\, but it’s not suitable for a new rider who hasn’t ridden in a trial before.
