SUMMARY:Twin shock trials reunion
DESCRIPTION:This event is a reunion for riders who rode in the New Zealand Trials Championship in the 1970s and early 1980s.  Observers or spectators from that period are also welcome. The GPS coordinates are S 46.06397 E 169.84623 \nThere is no camping or dogs allowed as this is a working cattle and sheep farm. Freedom camping is available on Hwy 8 at Manuka tunnel track which is 4k from trial site and is self-contained only or Mt. Stuart reserve which is 6.5k from trial site. Motel accommodation is available in Milton 20k away or Lawrence 29k away. \nDirections to trial site. From Hwy 8 between Milton and Lawrence take Manuka hill rd. and follow 1.4k to Round Hill Rd and turn RIGHT and follow .9k to address 449 then continue past for 1.5k on farm track to parking. SUMMARY:2021 Prize Giving Dinner
DESCRIPTION:The Pioneer club prize giving will be at Alan and Isabel’s place in Cass bay and will include a good social event and stunning meal by Canterbury Country spit roasts. \nThe meal will have 3 spit roast meats\, 6 gourmet salads\, hot baby potatoes\, carrots\, beans and selection of breads. This year’s dessert is by Spit roast company\, there will be 3 desserts and fruit salad. \nWe will provide a family friendly venue with spectacular views and great social space.  You will have to bring your own drinks unless you want a cup of tea or coffee. \nThe gathering will be from 5pm until 10pm ish. Old and infirm can park up the driveway\, rest on the road. \nThis event is not just for those people winning prizes but also for all club members and friends of the club. It would be great to see some of our old club members there and some of the great people who observe at major events for us. \nAs the Pioneer Motorcycle Club would like to thank all of the volunteers who observed at championship events organised by the club\, the dinner is offered complimentary to them. It’s also free for kids under 12. \nHere is what you need to know. \nThe cost is $40 each except for observers and kids under 12 \nThe venue is 56 Governors Bay rd Cass bay Lyttelton.  Alan’s cell phone number is 021 566 871 \nStart time from 5 pm. \nBring your own beer. \nOld and infirm can park up the driveway\, anyone else park down on the road. . \nBook and pay as soon as you can so we can confirm to the catering people. \nThe Club’s vaccination policy applies for this event.

Turn left at Heywards Road and go past Clarkville School. Turn left into Taylors Road.  When you enter the river area turn right and go along a little way.  You will see us on the left hand side before the bigger motocross tracks.
