SUMMARY:Tullett Memorial Trial
DESCRIPTION:This will be a team’s event and there will be four riders in each team. There will be three grades: red\, yellow and blue. Each team will enter riders in the three grades. The fourth rider can choose to ride any of the three lines.  The scores of the four riders will be added together and the winning team will be the one with the lowest score. \nYou can form a team before the trial or just turn up on the day and we will put you into a team. \nLen Tullett was the secretary of the club for 10 years from 1937 to 1947 and was a popular member of the Club. He was also the first editor of the Megaphone.  After Len’s death in 1947 the Club ran an annual inter club event for a several years.  There were five motorcycle clubs in Christchurch at this time and each club entered a team and competed for the Tullett Memorial Shield. \nSign in from 9.30am\, briefing: 10:15am. DESCRIPTION:On the weekend of 20-21 May there will be a two day training course run by Neil Price at Western Valley (west). This training is for Pioneer members only and the cost of the training is $50 per rider.  Bookings are on a ‘first come first served’ basis. There is an option in the booking form for riders who aren’t members to join the club if they would like to attend the training. \nOn Saturday evening there will be a dinner at the Cashmere Club with Neil. He will talk  about the psychological approach to riding and practice methods.  The Cashmere Club will provide a reasonably priced meal for around $22 with a choice of four options.  Meals and drinks to be paid for individually on the night. DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for a day on a trial bike at the Waimak Trials Park.\nWe’ll have three electric trials bikes for kids and bigger bikes for adults to have a go on. It’s very social and a good way to get a feel for the sport and meet club members.\nPlease bring a helmet.   We have some boots for children\, but adults need to bring their own. \n\nThe Trials Park can be accessed from Taylors Rd or  you can turn off after going over the old Waimakariri bridge and head past the jet boat ramp and drive along the road to the motocross tracks. You will see us on the left hand side before the bigger motocross tracks.
