GREAT DAY TRAINING AT WESTERN VALLEY

GREAT DAY TRAINING AT WESTERN VALLEY

The club would like to thank all riders that attended the second day of training at Western Valley.  The club would also like to extend its special thanks to Jules Huguenin for providing this training and to Matt Latham and family for letting us use this great property.

Canterbury provided a warm and sunny day for this training and both groups, Clubman/Beginners in the morning, and Intermediate/Expert in the afternoon enjoyed a challenging 3 hours of training, often well outside their normal “comfort” zone.

Training consisted of two sections being laid out by Jules who then proceeded to show how each section should be ridden, and what riding technique should be used to overcome each element of the section.  Mention should also be made at this point of the help Derek provided, not only as the MNZ official for the day but also as minder in those parts of the section that needed it.

The photos below do not cover the entire day, rather just the morning, if any other photos have been taken especially during the afternoon please pass them onto the club.
