Wednesday May 29th – Monday June 3rd
Planning is well underway now for this years Six Day Trial which will mark the start of the Pioneer Centenial celebrations.
The event will commence with a Dinner and sign-on on Tuesday evening at a yet to be confirmed venue.
The first three days will consist of 20-30km loops with 20-30 sections per loop. These days will be based at Claverley which is approximately ½hr south of Kaikoura.
The final three days will be held at the usual venues with 2 days at Mt Fyfe and 1 day at Oaro run as per usual.
Grades for the 6 day event will be limited to Expert, Intermediate, Presidents, Twin shock and Clubman A. Unfortunately due to the nature of the terrain Clubman B are unable to be catered for. However the ride between sections will be a mixture of 4 wheel drive tracks and walking tracks and will not be too difficult for clubman riders.
In keeping with the spirit of the Centenary celebrations this event will be run under Non-Stop rules and the sections will be pegged accordingly.
Grades for the 3 day event will be the normal grades including Clubman B.
Entry forms will be available soon and there will be a close-off date for the 6 day event on May the 17th. There will be no late entries accepted for the 6 Day!!!!
Riders on the 6 day will have to ride in groups of 3-4 so please give some thought to who will be in your group.
Please note that the Prize giving for this year’s event will be held at a venue in Kaikoura (not at the trial venue) at the conclusion of the trial Monday afternoon.
We are presently working on some accommodation packages for 7 nights and will have more information soon. We are also working on a venue for a social gathering/meal for each night of the trial.

Only 118 days to the start of the only 6 day trial in New Zealand.
