The annual prize giving of the Pioneer club will be held on Saturday 24 January at Josh’s workplace in Templeton. This is a social event for all club members, family members and friends of the club and will begin around 5pm.

The venue is a country setting with a big lawn area for the younger kids (and grandkids) to ride around on their push bikes or electric trials bikes.

Catering will be by Spitroast.com again this year but this time it will be the BBQ menu. There will be two courses: a main and dessert.

The main includes a choice of four meats and three salads:

Marinated BBQ steak
Tasty beef sausages
Juicy meat patties
Honey soy marinated chicken nibbles

Potato, coleslaw and mixed lettuce salads

Dessert is:

Pavlova
Fresh fruit salad

BYO drinks.

The meal is $30 for adults and free for children under 16.

For observers and non riding officials at the 2025 South Island Championship rounds which were held at Kaituna and Western Valley, the meal is free.
