Kaikōura 3 Day Trial – the first 25 years

Peter Hosking has written a history of the early years of the Kaikōura 3 Day Trial. This covers the period from 1946 to 1970 and has the results for each year. It also includes some photos taken in the 1950s and 1960s. The event began as a two day reliability trial and evolved during these years to become the 3 day trial which is held at different properties. 1970 was the last year a rider on a British bike won the trial.
