Hi all
I spent some time tabulating and analyzing your responses and here are the findings. I guess responder 'turnout' is not high but when you consider that less than 10% voted at our recent AGM and that only one current trials rider turned up at that workshop then the response of what could be 20% of current riders for this survey is a little better.
The big question is …..what next?
I have my own ideas but I will let you digest the result before I come back to you with an essay. The only thing that I can say at this stage is that the decision making process that I have tried to implement is not really working for me. Most of you seem to want to correspond with me as individuals rather than seek a group consensus before sending that consensus along. I guess that puts me at a place whereby I try using the survey/questionnaire again.I do wish that the 25 odd respondents would feel the need to come to a day [or 2] workshop. It would be so much more productive and we could grow our sport in "metres" NOT "millimetres" per year.

Analysis of “brainstorm” and “decision time”
Following is the analysis of the two questionnaires that I have circulated recently.
Methodology: I have “weighted”..
A ‘must do’ [A] as 100% in favour.
A ‘should do’ [B] as 66% in favour
A ‘should consider [C] as 33% in favour
And a ‘should not do’ [D] as 0% [not in favour]
[The “name change”, the “green line” and “Ravos offer” carry a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ weighting]
I had approximately 25 respondents for “brainstorm” and 36 for “decision time”[Approximate because some responded as a group to which I assessed the number in that group]
Here then are the questions with a percentage “weighting” as to how favourable responders found the statement in order of the most acceptable first to the least acceptable last.
